Steel Pipe Coating

Durable, temperature-resistant solutions for long-distance, high-pressure pipelines

Steel pipelines transport natural gas, crude oil, petrochemicals and water at high pressure over long distances. To protect them from corrosion, external coating systems and cathodic protection are used.

Drawing on over 20 years’ experience, our Borcoat™ portfolio offers a range of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PE) solutions for steel pipe coating. These include the Borcoat high-density PE system for temperatures ranging from -45°C to +90°C, the Borcoat PP system for temperatures up to +110°C, and the Borcoat PP thermal insulation system for offshore projects, suitable for temperatures up to +140°C.

Across all applications, these high-performance solutions ensure outstanding durability and cost-effectiveness, backed by our commitment to reliable service and consistent supply.
