Our Borealis and Borouge Infrastructure team was happy to meet the stakeholders from the Pipe Industry during the Plastic Pipes XXI Conference and Exhibition in person. Held in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA, from September 25–27, 2023, the event was very busy and productive with a high interest in the circularity of pipe solutions. Borealis and Borouge contributed strongly to the exciting agenda and the resulting networking discussions with 10 technical papers, including the opening session, and 3 session chairmanships.
The Plastic Pipes Conference and Exhibition was created in 1970 and it is the pivotal event for exchange of technical and scientific content about cutting edge developments of pipe materials, plastic pipe systems and machinery. This event is of a global nature and it attracts the main pipe industry professionals. It takes place every second year and the location rotates between Europe and North America.
The outcome of this year’s event has been certainly very satisfying for all parties involved. Holding the presidency of the PE100+ Association, Borealis plays a key role in organizing and managing this conference series.
