Borealis-MORE Scholarship
Good quality education is key to social integration and access to the labor market. With this in mind, in 2017 Borealis and the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) established the Borealis-MORE Scholarship, a program to enable refugees to start or continue their academic career.
Scholarship for Refugees and Displaced Persons
The success of integration is largely dependent on education and training. In light of the refugee crisis in 2015, Borealis and Johannes Kepler University (JKU) in Linz, Austria, instituted the Borealis-MORE Scholarship program, which went into effect in 2017. It was the first of its kind in Austria at that time. Since the beginning of the Borealis-MORE Scholarship, more than 100 students have been able to attend university because of the initiative.
