ZOOM Children's Museum
To create a sustainable future, it is vital that children are sensitized to topics, such as climate change, circular economy or biodiversity. The ZOOM Children’s Museum (ZOOM Kindermuseum) is engaged in helping children understand such complex sustainability aspects by prompting critical discussions amongst children and stimulating their creativity to find solutions. Therefore, Borealis has been one of three main sponsors of the ZOOM Children’s Museum in Vienna, Austria, since 2013.
Strengthening Children's Creative Capabilities
The ZOOM Children’s Museum is a space that provides exhibitions, workshops, and installations that encourage them to ask questions, touch, feel, examine and play to their heart's desire. ZOOM stimulates their curiosity, problem solving skills and innovational spirit as they explore the world with all their senses, on their own or in small teams and at their own pace. They can zoom in on objects and situations and, by doing so, find out about themselves and discover their abilities and creativity. Next to being one of the three main sponsors, Borealis supported three exhibitions, all of them tackling highly relevant sustainability topics:

Over 100,000 children visit exhibitions at ZOOM every year to engage with topics from everyday life, science and art.
