Borealis in Port Murray, New Jersey
Located in Port Murray, New Jersey, the Rockport, site is a compounding operation dedicated to produce PE solutions to the wire and cable industry.
The specialty facility was acquired by Borealis in 1997 with a lines to produce super clean MV/HV cable insulation, semi-conductive grades and flame retardant grades for cables. Rockport can produce more than 60,000 metric tons per year of compounds to the wire and cable industry.
This stand-alone compounding facility boasts more than 40 years-experience and is home to approximately 165 employees, who work in partnership with our customers, developing material solutions that offer superior productivity and value.
